• Hunter Safety -- September class went very well – one of our bigger classes and put the most students through this year (between March and Sept classes) than ever before. We had to turn away almost 20 students because our building can only accommodate about 30-35 students. In 2010 we will be doing a combination firearms and bow hunter safety class. We need more instructors or people to help out – see Tim Corbin if you are interested (207-793-4512)
• Pig Roast -- Excellent event this year – great turn out and we easily covered our expenses and then some for the event. Annual raffle went very well – we covered our expenses with a healthy surplus. Kevin Fortin from Plaistow N H won the gun. Special thanks to everyone that helped out at the event – especially Romeo Fortin and Paul Smith. For 2010 we need to order more raffle tickets – 2000 was not enough. We will also consider different approaches to getting tickets to members.
• Trap Shoot -- Scheduled for Saturday 10/3 but it looks like it will get rained out.
• Christmas Party -- SScheduled for 12/12 starting at 7:00PM. $10 Yankee Swap, Pot Luck, bring wrapped children’s gift.
• Pheasant Committee -- Will Smith and Tim Corbin to pull together a recommendation for the November board of directors. We were not asked by the Parsonsfield club to release birds in Newfield this year – we hear they had to destroy their entire pen due to disease.
• Trap Range -- No progress this year.
• Web Site -- SWe have experienced issues with the web site over the last 1-2 months. There have been lengthy periods where the site was not operational due to issues on the providers end. Things are operational again but we are considering moving to another provider.
• Deer Pool -- See Romeo Fortin to enter. Biggest doe and buck prizes – NH, ME and MA only.

• Hunter Safety – – Advertising submitted by Tim Corbin.
• Installation of the generator and Furnace – – Romeo Fortin submitted bills for numerous items .
• Maine Conservation Camp –- Jack Cavanaugh sent in a nice thank you note for the club sponsoring him at the Maine Conservation Camp at Bryant Pond this past summer. Jack also brought in a DVD that we watched at the end of the meeting.

• Generator – – All installed and secured. Thanks to all the effort Romeo Fortin put into this.
• Security –- Frank Covie has done a lot around tightening up security on the club grounds. Frank did a short presentation at the start of the meeting talking about security. It is up to us all to help secure the club grounds.
• Rifle range –- Thanks to Tom Cafferkey for cleaning up the range. We ask the club members to once again follow a few rules when shooting at the range. Do not shoot bottles and cans. Do not turn the target butts on end to shoot at or to put targets onto. There are many target set ups all ready to go – all you need to do is to attach your paper target to them. Please help us keep the range cleaned up and to use the target butts as they have been designed. Please help us enforce these simple rules with others who are at the range when you are also there – members and their guests.
• Archery Range –- Also thanks to Tom Cafferkey again for his work on the archery range. Not many people take advantage of the archery range – feel free to check it out.
• Furnace –- Romeo Fortin has installed the furnace. Still some work left to complete but it is working very well. It was very nice to have a warm building during the meeting
• Reminders ––i. Club meeting night changes from the first Friday of the month to the first Thursday of the month starting in January. ––ii. We are now accepting 2010 dues payments. Dues are due by 1/31/2010.

• Officer Nominations –2010 nomination of officers at the next meeting.
• Issue with items disappearing from the club – We have noticed that several items have disappeared from the club house over the last several months. Both McKenzie deer archery targets, the floor fan and several game mounts on the walls have disappeared. This is indeed a very sad thing to report because the club house was not broken into – whoever took them knew the club combination. In the event a club member has borrowed these items please let us know. In the meantime we have decided to change the combination to the clubhouse (the gate combination remains the same as it was). Only club officers will have the combination to the club house. If a member wishes to borrow anything contact an officer or a board member. We will put up a whiteboard in the clubhouse to list items that have been borrowed and by who. We are not sure what else to say about this. It has been a tough year with first the generator being stolen and now with these missing items from the clubhouse. If anyone has any knowledge about the items we mention here please let a club officer know.
• Plowing –we are taking bids for plowing the club grounds this winter. All bids need to be submitted to a club officer or board member by November 6.
• Audit – Charles Mullins, Shawn Cavanaugh and Kevin Mohan have agreed to conduct the annual audit this year. They will be working with Jeannie Morrison, club Treasurer, to conduct this audit.
