Acton Fair - We are once again renting
a space at the Acton Fair to sell raffle tickets. We need help manning the table
for the entire weekend - Fridat August 22 through Sunday August 24th. Please contact
Tim Corbin @ 207-793-4512 if you can help out - he will schedule you for the event. Every little bit helps us out a lot. We need your help!
July Meeting Highlights

We need the back field bush-hogged. If any club member has the equipment to do this or knows someone who does - please contact Romeo Fortin @ 207-793-2046.

We need fill for the road up to the Rifle range.

Board member Bob McHugh will be installing the downstairs heater before winter.

We need workers to help out at the Acton Fair.
- Committee Reports

Auction - Very good event again this year. We sold just about
all the merchandise in the trailer - taking in around $1,300 which will be used
for various club repairs and expenses. We are taking in items for next years event - just drop put it in
the storage trailer.

Raffle - Jeanne Morrison will look into getting additional raffle tickets
- we are low. She will contact Nancy Moses.

Acton Fair - We need help covering the table at the fair. Even if you
can only cover for an hour or two that will be a big help. Please contact Tim Corbin
@ 207-793-4512 if you can help out. This is a major fund-raiser for us - we sell
the majority of our tickets at the Acton Fair.

Pig Roast - Jeanne Morrison will get prices for the pig. Romeo volunteered
to pick it up.

- Old Business
- When
the gas heater is in stalled in the basement we will pay Bob McHugh $250. Bob
is donating his time for the install - thanks Bob.
- We
are taking offers on the old club generator - $300 minimum bid.
- We
are taking offers on the old club wood stove - make us an offer.
- New Business
- PLEASE
- no glass on the rifle range. People are shooting bottles and leaving it on the
ground. We ask club members to police this to keep the range clean & safe.
- New
member Bruce Palmer - we messed up Bruce's membership application multiple times
since he applied last fall - so he was voted in as a new member (finally)! Sorry
for all the mix-ups Bruce!
- New
member Nick Santangelo was voted in.
- Membership allocated $300 for gravel for the road up to the range. Romeo will locate someone to deliver the gravel - and Bob McHugh offered to spread it for us.
